MAINTAIN WRITERS BENCH

Maintain brings you another great event this Sunday the 29th of January 2012. Join us at 2643 N. Figueroa Los Angeles, Ca. 90065 For our 4th installment of the Writers Bench.  Don't miss another great live painting session  by our featured artist for this event "To be Anounce". 

Like always we will be sponsoring A Black book battle and have some free give aways.

     Rules for Black Book Battle:

1. All entries must be created during the event @ Maintain
2. All entries must be original
3. All entires must be completed by 6:30
4. There will only be one winner so bring your best skills to the event

Winner of the Maintain T-hirt CConontest

Congratulations to Alex Moro the Winner of the Maintain T-shirt Contest. His design was the best over all design that represented Maintains aesthetic and style. We would like to thank everyone else who participated in the contest. It was a difficult choice  because we received so many entries unfortunately their could only be one winner.

MAINTAIN'S WRITER OF THE WEEK: AXIS CBS, VT, TFL,

Its been a while since I highlighted any graffiti artist on the Maintain Blog. For all of you that don't know how I go about doing this. The Maintain writer of the week is a tribute to Los Angeles graffiti writers that have been doing their thing consistently for 20 years plus. This week I would like to showcase some of AXIS CBS art work. He has been a staple in the L.A. graffiti scene for decades and has a very clean and original style that can only be attributed to him. He is among one of my favorite graffiti artist. Big ups to axis.

Join us on the 3rd of March, 2012 for a special in store SMOG CITY T-shirt release and Print signing by MURAL STK. There will be live painting  and art exhibit by MURAL. Special guess DJ will be providing the sounds. Don't  miss this event. We will also be giving away SMOG CITY STICKERS.

Glow in the dark

This week we were at CREWEST  during the L.A. art walk. They have a real cool show up this month. I did not get the name of the artist but I was blown away by the glow in the dark art work.
