Crew of the week UTI

This focus is given to a Los angeles crew who have more than 20 years under their belt.

This week Maintain would like to acknowledge the Los Angeles base UTI Crew for not only being aroung for more than 20 + years but for being a pioneering force in all of the ellements of graffiti. Skill Snap Celtic, Ghost, Nuke, Dash, Swan and a phew more original UTI's where the driving force behind this talented crew. Forgive me if I forgot anyone. Since its origin there have been a selected phew who joined there ranks... OUr respects go out to all of the uti crew who still holds it down and is on the top of their game in this town and accross the globe...any where they go.

REST IN PEACE DASH 2000

Last week I got word that a very well known, talented and Graffiti artist had passed away. The news is very saddening. And although it brings tears to my eyes as a result of his passing i have witness the compassion and humanity that people seldom show. His death has created unity within the Los Angeles Graffiti subculture.

I dug around the web and found some pictures and a video memorial that DCLINE from the COI crew created.
