SENTO....

Todays Writer of the day is SENTO.... if you never heard of this guy this video will help you catch up to your homework.

RIP DREAM SMD

As time passes us the generation of writers who started this graffiti art movement are all facing one unavoidable fact of life, death. The reality is nothing last for ever at least not in its physical form and the true test of time comes in the persons story, legacy and memories that are passed on for future generations to come. And although the death of some one especially that of some one you know is always sad it is important to remember that its the memory of that person that brings us joy. With that said let us not be sadden by The death of Dream One SMD, let us be inspired to do what we all have in common. GRAFFITI LIVES! And so will Dreams memory.

PRENS

I was in downtown Los Angeles today on my way to the printers to pick up some new MAINTAIN shirts and as I got out of the car I noticed a security gate that is usually closed was open. I could not believe my eyes but behind the gate was a graffiti treasure, a PRENS tag. For those of you that don't know much about Los Angeles graffiti before the Internet or after the late 90's PRENS was up. He was one of the first L.A writers to leave and impression on me. I remember seeing him, RASEC, CROK, MER, SOEC in the mid 80's and the last time I saw him up was in 89. it was quite a treat to have found this old land mark.

(PRENS tag is in Black)

This tag is atleast 22 years old.
